Course Code: JDTI-100-D Programme Length: 2 years (4 Semesters)
Prerequisites: 10+2 or equivalent, no art background required
Semester Length: 3 Months, 5 Days a week, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
You will learn the skills needed to generate and exemplify designs for a range of jewellery. It emphasises on basic drawing skills and fundamental aspects of jewellery designing

Semester Length: 3 Months, 5 Days a week, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
You will learn basic techniques required for jewellery making along with further practice on drawing and visualization skills.

  • Basic Goldsmithing and Jewellery Making Skills Such As Filing, Cutting, Drilling, Soldering, Alloying, Forging, Wire Drawing & Sheet Rolling
  • Students Will Learn How To Use All Hand Tools And Workshop Machinery
  • Practical Training On Individual And Well-Equipped Workbenches
  • Lectures On Safety Regulations
  • Technical Exercises Will Be Followed By Design Exercises In Jewellery Making

Prerequisites: Successful completion of JDTI 002
Semester Length: 6 Months, 5 Days a week, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
The course will lay emphasis mainly on practical training in jewellery making and will enable the students to tackle complexities at different stages in the design and manufacturing process.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of JDTI 003
Semester Length: 1 Year, 5 Days a week, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
This semester covers advanced techniques in manufacturing, marketing research (both in the domestic and international markets) and industrial exposure. The semester ends with final design project which is of three months duration.

  • Final Design Project - The culmination of their 2 year Extensive learning programme.
Students successfully completing JDTI 001 through JDTI 004 are sent for industrial training/ internship.
